Mullin has long been a talisman at Wrexham but is facing a battle to simply get in the squad currently. The 30-year-old has been forced onto the sidelines in recent weeks, following the January arrivals of Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez, prompting speculation that he has fallen out with manager Parkinson.

Former Wales and Norwich striker Iwan Roberts has fuelled speculation of a problem between manager and player. He told the BBC's Feast of Football podcast: "You get the feeling, and you hear little rumours that there's been a falling out. I just get the feeling that something must have happened for him not to be included in the match day squad. Whether there's been a falling out or disagreement, we don't know. It's a sad situation."
WHAT MULLIN SAID
The speculation has caused a Wrexham fan to ask on X if there "anything" to the rumours surrounding Mullin and Parkinson and has had the matter cleared up by the man himself. Mullin has branded such talk as simply "nonsense."

Yet Mullin may have to be content with simply watching Wrexham for the time being, with Parkinson's team still battling hard for promotion to the Championship. The Red Dragons currently sit in second place in the table and take on fifth-placed Stockport in another huge game on Saturday.
