Four second-half goals from Mark Skinner's side cancelled out Katja Snoeijs' opener to lift United up to fourth in the Women's Super League on Sunday. Millie Turner bagged an equaliser in the 57th minute, before a double from Toone put the hosts in control. Leah Galton put some extra gloss on the scoreline in the 90th minute to cap off a day when England star Toone brought up her 50th and 51st goals for the club – becoming the first player to reach that total for the club.

Toone initially mishit a left-footed shot before slotting home goal number 50 in Manchester United colours. For her second, the 24-year-old tucked the ball away from close range after an incisive run from team-mate Lisa Naalsund.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
This result eases the pressure on manager Skinner, who has received criticism for how his side have performed this season. However, after coming second in the WSL last term, they are still underperforming in 2023/24 and are 15 points behind league leaders Manchester City.
